Meet Dr. Shannon Lasure
Education & Training
Dr. Shannon received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse (UWL) in 2015. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta Georgia in 2019.
She is excited to be a part of the team at M.Y. Life Health Center; it is the place that changed her career path. While attending UWL Shannon was on the Women’s Track and Field team. She became injured and unable to practice with her teammates. She tried many different modalities but was merely maintaining the injuries and still experiencing daily pain.
Then she met Dr. Chad when he was volunteering on campus and adjusting athletes. He did extremity adjustments and put her foot, ankle, and hip bones back in alignment and her body started to heal faster. Within weeks she was back on the track with her team! Shannon went on to compete on the 4x400m relay team. They hold the school record and she achieved 5 national titles over her competition days. Dr. Chad had a huge impact on her life, and she is ecstatic to be part of his team.
Helping The Community
Dr. Shannon has a goal of helping her community to live a healthier life, the natural way! She is excited to inform her patients on the importance of chiropractic care and begin a total body wellness lifestyle. (Be excited to commit!!) She enjoys working on a variety of patients from newborn to elderly. She most enjoys seeing families with little kids as well as athletes. Dr. Shannon uses a variety of techniques to get down to the cause of what is going on in the body and get her patients healing and living a better life.
Outside the Office
Dr. Shannon spends her time out of the office with her wonderful husband Nick, and their three boys: Landon (6), Colson (4), and Braxton (2) (as of 2025). They enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, hiking, play dates at parks, crafting, coloring and going on walks. Additionally, Dr. Shannon focuses hugely on her own health daily as she was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer in November of 2022. She is doing okay but is still tired and healing. Her passion to help and heal others is still a huge part of her.
