Dr. Courtney Holub
My name is Dr. Courtney Holub, D.C. and I am so excited to join the amazing M.Y. Life team! I am originally from Solon, Iowa. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Movement and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Iowa in 2015. While I attended college, I was a sprinter for the UNI women’s track team. I then pursued my chiropractic dream at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and officially became a Doctor of Chiropractic in February 2019!
I enjoy working with a variety of patients ranging from infants to elderly. Throughout my time at chiropractic school I learned a variety of techniques that can be applied specifically to meet each patient’s needs. I spent a large majority of my clinic experience at Palmer working with military patients. It was a humbling and rewarding experience to give back to the men and women who serve our country. I am very passionate about chiropractic and I treat each patient with a compassionate, whole person approach.
My passion for chiropractic began at a young age as my father is also a chiropractor. I received my first chiropractic adjustment just thirty minutes after I was born! He inspired me to follow in his footsteps as he changed my life, and so many others, through chiropractic care. As an athlete my body was always under a lot of physical stress, so chiropractic care was essential for my health. I also faced obstacles related to my health about six years ago when I developed a systemic connective tissue autoimmune disorder. It challenged me as a person and has shaped me into the chiropractor I am today. Through regular chiropractic adjustments and an overall healthy lifestyle, I have been able to function at my highest potential every single day. It is my goal to serve patients and help them to live their best life, naturally!
When I am not in the office, I am spending my time being active outdoors. I enjoy running, hiking, traveling, biking, skiing, and kayaking. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends whenever I get the chance. I love dogs, and hope to be getting a yellow lab in the next few months!
Dr. Drew Markworth
My name is Drew Markworth and I am a new chiropractor at M.Y. Life Health center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. I am a 2019 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While I was there I spent time studying both the spine as well as the extremities such as the wrists, elbows, shoulders, ankles, knees, hips and the TMJ, or jaw joint, as well as the function that all of these have on the rest of the body. Through my studies I was able to spend time working both within the clinics at Palmer, as well as outside of school teaching other students and doctors different adjustments in order to keep the body functioning at its maximum potential.
I am originally from Onalaska, Wisconsin where I attended high school, graduating in 2011 while participating in many different activities such as baseball, football, and basketball. Following my graduation I attended the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities where I earned a bachelors degree in kinesiology. I then went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic which lead me to beginning my career in the town where I grew up where I hope to influence the health of the community I grew to love both in the time that I spent there growing up and the time I spent visiting while I was away at school.
I am an avid outdoors-man, enjoying fishing, duck and deer hunting, hiking, running, and being involved with the local sports teams. I am excited to join the team at M.Y. Life Health, and hope to see you soon so we can talk about how chiropractic can fit into your healthcare needs and maximize the way that we live our lives.
